Acknowledgements

This document was for both of us our very final piece of work as a student of the University of Ghent to obtain our degree of 'Master of Marketing Analysis'. We are very happy to thank some people who made it possible for us to accomplish this 'masterpiece'.

First of all, a lot of gratitude goes out to our Professor Dirk Van den Poel, for introducing us in the world of modelling and data analysis. The knowledge you allowed us to master will be a solid base to launch our future careers.

We would also like to thank the people from Dunnhumby, for allowing us to have a great working experience in a very motivating and fun environment. In particular we want to say thanks to Julie, Rosie, Elisabetta, Dave, Susie and Gaelle, the CPG team to which we belonged for 11 weeks.

Next we will never forget the other MMA people with who we lived together in Brentford and totally fell in love with, for the food they prepared for us. We wish Philippe, Maaike, Koen and Karel the very best in their future careers and lives.

Further more, our gratitude goes out to our parents and family, for your support, patience and love. Going to another country has made us realise even more how important you are.

Finally a lot of love and gratitude goes out to Kaat and Louise, our girlfriends. Thank you for putting up with us, especially when we're not around.
